Text message policy
How we text, and how to stop.
This page describes the text messages the Regal Court leasing and management team may send, how you agree to receive them, and how to end them in one word. Final legal language should be reviewed by management or counsel before production launch.
Rather talk?
Call (972) 954-9226 or come by the leasing office at 5800 Preston View Blvd, Dallas, TX 75240. Call for current leasing-office hours.
The short version
- We text about leasing and tours, applications, resident service, and community notices — and only the programs you agreed to.
- Reply STOP to stop. Reply HELP for help.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Saying yes to texts is never a condition of renting, of applying, or of any purchase.
- Your mobile number is never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else’s marketing.
Who sends these messages
Text messages come from the leasing and management team at Regal Court Apartments, 5800 Preston View Blvd, Dallas, TX 75240, managed by Styles Property Management. A business messaging provider delivers them on the community’s behalf. No one else is authorized to text you using this community’s name.
The number these messages are sent from is set by management with that provider, and this page is updated with it before the program starts. Until then, treat any text claiming to be from Regal Court as unverified — especially one asking for payment, banking details, or a password. The leasing team does not ask for those by text. If you want to confirm a message is really from us, call (972) 954-9226.
What we text about
Texting is used for a short list of purposes, and you only receive the ones you agreed to:
- Leasing & toursAnswering an inquiry, confirming or changing a tour time, and sending directions to the leasing office.
- Application statusTelling an applicant where an application stands and what the secure application still needs from them.
- Resident serviceAcknowledging a service request, arranging access to the home, and confirming when work is scheduled or finished.
- Community noticesRoutine notices to residents — gate, pool, laundry, parking, or leasing-office access changes.
- Urgent noticesInfrequent messages about something affecting the property now, such as a utility interruption or a weather closure.
Texting is not a way to report an emergency, and no one is guaranteed to be watching the inbox. For a maintenance emergency, call (972) 954-9226. For a life-safety emergency, call 911.
The program names registered with the mobile carriers are set by management when the messaging program is registered; the descriptions above are what each program is actually for.
How you opt in
You opt in by giving the leasing office your mobile number and agreeing to be texted — for example by asking us to follow up by text, by choosing a texting option on the secure application, or by texting the community first. Agreement to be texted is asked for on its own; it is not buried inside a lease or an application.
Consent is not a condition of renting, of applying, of signing a lease, or of any purchase. You can decline text messages and still tour, apply, lease, and receive every notice by phone, by mail, or by notice posted at the community.
Consent is per program. Agreeing to tour follow-up is not agreement to resident service texts, and agreeing to community notices is not agreement to leasing messages. Each program asks separately, and you can leave one without leaving the others.
Only the person who holds a mobile number may opt that number in, so please do not give us someone else’s number. We do not buy, rent, or import purchased lists of mobile numbers.
Frequency and cost
- Frequency
- Message frequency varies. It depends on the programs you joined and on what is happening — an application in progress or an open service request produces more messages than a quiet month.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply. The community does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile plan may. Check your plan if you are not sure.
The per-program frequency disclosure shown at sign-up is set by management when the program is registered with the carriers.
How to stop — reply STOP
Reply STOP to any message from us and the messages stop. Our messaging provider also recognizes END, CANCEL, QUIT, and UNSUBSCRIBE, but STOP is the one to remember.
After you reply STOP you will receive one last message confirming you have been removed. After that confirmation we will not text you on that program again unless you opt in again.
STOP applies to the program you replied to. If you receive more than one kind of message from us and want all of them to end, reply STOP to each, or call (972) 954-9226 and ask the leasing office to remove your number from every program.
Stopping texts stops texts and nothing else. Your lease, application, service request, and resident account are unaffected, and we will reach you by phone, by mail, or by posted notice as needed.
How to get help — reply HELP
Reply HELP to any message and you will get a reply naming the community and telling you how to reach us. You can also call (972) 954-9226 or come to the leasing office at 5800 Preston View Blvd, Dallas, TX 75240.
Carriers and delivery
Delivery is not guaranteed. A text depends on your mobile carrier, your device, your plan, and your signal.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Neither the carriers nor this community can promise that a message will arrive, that it will arrive on time, or that it will arrive in the order it was sent.
Messages are supported on the major United States mobile carriers that accept business messaging. Support changes over time, and some prepaid, international, landline, and internet-calling numbers cannot receive these messages at all. Because the supported-carrier list belongs to the messaging provider rather than to us, the leasing office will confirm the current list once management finalizes that provider.
Because delivery is never certain, we do not rely on a text alone for anything that has to reach you. Notices that carry legal weight are delivered the way your lease requires.
What happens to your number
No mobile information — your number, or the fact that you agreed to be texted — is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Your number is shared only with the service providers who deliver these messages on the community’s behalf, and only so that they can deliver them. Those providers are not permitted to use your number for their own marketing. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long the messaging provider keeps message records is governed by that provider’s terms; management confirms those terms before the program starts.
If you change or give up your mobile number, tell the leasing office so that the next person to hold that number does not receive messages meant for you.
What this website itself does and does not collect is described in the privacy notice.
Reaching a person
Call (972) 954-9226 or come to the leasing office at 5800 Preston View Blvd, Dallas, TX 75240. Call for current leasing-office hours.
This community does not publish a support email address, so anything you would have emailed should go to that phone number, to the leasing office in person, or by mail to the same address.
Confirmed before launch
This site states only what it can support today. The following details belong to management, not to the website, and this page is updated as each is confirmed:
- The number, or numbers, these messages are sent from.
- The registered program names and the per-program frequency disclosure shown at sign-up.
- The messaging provider that delivers the messages, its record-retention terms, and its current supported-carrier list.
- Final review of this policy by management or counsel.
Updates to this policy
If the messaging programs change, this page changes first: a new program, a new sending number, or a new provider is described here before it is used. The date at the top of this page is the date it was last updated.
